"I've been overweight for over 15 years and have tried many different plans to lose weight, but was never able to find something that I could stick with. I would do really good for a few weeks, then back to my old habits, then wonder why I wasn't losing any weight! Once Jon set me up on myfitnesspal and explained the nutrition plan and percentages I was so excited. This would let me eat what I wanted within reason and still see weight loss. This started just like other diets I had been on, great for the first month, then my weight loss tapered off. During this time, Jon pointed out some foods I should add to hit my macros and was regularly tracking my eating to give me tips. "Last year, I attended the Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio for the first time. What a great experience! There were so many incredible athletes there, but most importantly, they were living a healthy lifestyle and enjoying it! I had always been athletic and tried to eat healthy, but I felt I wanted to take my body to the next level. I was working out several times a week, but not seeing the results I wanted. The following month was my birthday and I decided to “treat” myself to a personal trainer. After meeting with Jonathan to discuss my goals, I decided to work with him as my trainer. Jon is very professional and always gave me that extra push I needed. He believed in me. He created a meal plan and a training program that was personalized for me. I increased the number of days I worked out and the number of meals I ate! Within the first month I was getting stronger and leaner. I felt more energy than I had in years. I finally began seeing results! I worked with Jon for 6 months and was both sad and worried when my contract with him was ready to expire. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to continue to progress without him. He had always been there to guide me and give me advice. Well, it has been over a year since I have worked with Jon. I didn’t know it then, but he had equipped me with all the things I needed to continue my fitness journey. This past July, I competed in my first figure competition. Not bad for a 37 year old! My goal is to continue my healthy lifestyle and eventually compete in another figure contest.
